Vilget Tablets – Selective DPP-4 Inhibitor for Diabetes

Vilget Tablets contain Vildagliptin, a highly effective medication for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It functions by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, which signal the pancreas to produce more insulin in response to food and prevent the liver from producing excess sugar. Vilget can be used as a monotherapy for patients whose sugar levels are not controlled by lifestyle changes alone and for whom metformin is inappropriate. It is also highly effective as a dual oral therapy in combination with Metformin, a Sulfonylurea, or a Thiazolidinedione. In more advanced cases, it is utilized as part of a triple oral therapy or alongside insulin to achieve target HbA1c levels. Vilget is known for its established safety profile and a low risk of causing significant weight gain or hypoglycemia. Regular once or twice daily administration provides reliable glycemic control, helping to protect patients from the long-term complications of chronic diabetes.
