Moxiget I.V Infusion

Moxiget I.V. Infusion – Broad-Spectrum Injectable Antibiotic

Moxiget I.V. is an injectable fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulated for the treatment of severe bacterial infections in a hospital or clinical setting. It offers high-potency, broad-spectrum coverage against various susceptible pathogens. One of its primary indications is the management of community-acquired pneumonia and acute bacterial sinusitis when intravenous delivery is clinically necessary. It also effectively treats acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.

Clinically, Moxiget I.V. is used for both complicated and uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections. It is also an established treatment for complicated intra-abdominal infections, where rapid bacterial clearance is critical for patient recovery. The infusion provides excellent tissue penetration, ensuring therapeutic levels reach the site of infection quickly. It works by inhibiting the bacterial enzymes required for DNA replication, effectively stopping the spread of the illness. Once the patient is stable, they are typically transitioned to oral therapy to complete the treatment course.

  • Treats severe pneumonia, sinusitis, and skin infections.
  • Indicated for complicated intra-abdominal infections.
  • Broad-spectrum activity with rapid systemic delivery.
  • Available as: Injectable 400mg/250ml.
