Lipiget Tablets – Comprehensive Lipid Management

Lipiget is a therapeutic agent used to manage blood lipid levels and reduce cardiovascular risk. It is primarily indicated as an adjunct to diet to reduce elevated levels of total cholesterol, LDL-C, and triglycerides in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. It also helps increase HDL (good) cholesterol levels. Clinically, it treats patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia and primary dysbetalipoproteinemia. Additionally, Lipiget is used in children with familial hypercholesterolemia when diet alone is insufficient. By inhibiting the liver's production of cholesterol, it prevents the progression of atherosclerosis and significantly reduces the long-term risk of heart attacks and strokes.
