Amclav Tablets

Amclav Tablets are a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulated for the short-term treatment of various bacterial infections. They are effective in managing upper respiratory tract infections, including ENT conditions such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media, as well as lower respiratory tract infections, including acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, lobar, and broncho-pneumonia.

These tablets also treat genito-urinary tract infections such as cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, and female genital infections, in addition to skin and soft tissue infections like boils, abscesses, cellulitis, and wound infections. Amclav is indicated for bone and joint infections, including osteomyelitis, and other serious infections such as septic abortion, puerperal sepsis, intra-abdominal sepsis, septicaemia, peritonitis, and post-surgical infections.

Amclav Tablets are also used for prophylaxis against infections associated with major surgical procedures, including gastrointestinal, pelvic, head and neck, cardiac, renal, joint replacement, and biliary tract surgeries.
